To achieve this effect, there are a number of products you can buy at your local grocery store. One thing that you will want to avoid using on your vinyl floor is Ajax. You should also avoid any items which use solvents. Strong cleaners are not necessary, as vinyl floors are easy to clean. You will want to make sure your vinyl floors are swept on a consistent basis. This will keep things like dust and soil from building up. It may also be a good idea to add floor mats near various entrances into rooms which have vinyl floors. This will stop people from carrying dirt onto the floors from outside. Never mop your vinyl floors until they have first been swept. It is crucial that the dirt and debris is removed before water is added to the surface. It is best to always use warm water and avoid materials such as detergents. Detergents make vinyl floors sticky and hard to clean. In addition to ammonia, vinegar is another good material that can be mixed with water. Dish liquids are good for vinyl floors, and are cheap and easy to use. When you wet the floors, you will want to wait a few minutes before using a mop. This will give the liquid time to loosen the debris. When you place water on the floor, you don't want to leave it there too long, because it can damage the glue on the outer edge.
