If there are any gaps left between the boards once they are fixed they must be filled completely with a smoothing compound.
Can You Lay Amtico On Heated Floors?
Amtico can be installed on a heated floor. However, if the floor is heated the pipes must be appropriately insulated so that the surface of the floor (where the Amtico is laid) does not exceed a maximum temperature of 27°C / 81°F. If you are laying Amtico on a heated floor it is also advisable that you use a flexible adhesive for when the floor contracts and expands under temperature fluctuations.
